CAMILO ZEA

Director – Managing Partner

Camilo is Pronus’ CEO and co-founder. Before creating Pronus, Camilo was director of the Proyecto Metro of Bogotá where he oversaw capital raising for the project and manage the initial construction phase. Formerly, He served as the Research and Development Managing Director (regulation director) at the Superintendencia Financiera de Colombia where he was in charge of the Colombian financial system regulation design and supervised its methodologies.  Camilo also served as head of the Market Development division at Banco de la República, Adivsor of the  Deputy Minister of Finance and Consultant at BID and the World Bank

Camilo has B.Sc. and M. Sc. degrees in Economics from the Universidad de los Andes. He also has a master’s degree in Public Administration and International Development from John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. To date, Camilo is member of the Board of Directors at different companies, including: ISA, ISA-Perú and ISA-Bolivia, Colfondos, BNP Paribas Securities Services Sociedad Fiduciaria, PiP Colombia Proveedor de Precios de Valoración, Fondo de Capital Privado Pactia and Universidad EAN.
